On December 23, 1971, U.S. President Nixon, in his speech at the signing of the National Cancer Bill, stated that he wanted to conquer the cancer when the United States established its 200th anniversary in 1976. Although this great goal was not achieved on schedule, in the 1990s, the incidence and mortality of major cancer in the United States ushered in a turning point and started to decline markedly. Compared with the United States, although our country continues to increase investment in cancer prevention and control, the incidence of cancer and mortality have continued to rise in the past 20 years. Some studies point out that by 2020, the total number of cancer deaths in China will exceed 4 million each year and the total number of illnesses will reach 6 million.
