曾繁仁先生面对21世纪出现的生态问题,在《生态存在论美学论稿》一书中积极倡导建立一种宏阔的开拓建设的生态存在论审美观。他认为,生态美学是一种人与自然、社会达到动态平衡、和谐一致的处于生态审美状态的存在观,必将有助于我国当代美学学科的突破。这既是对现代美学危机的学理内省,也是对现代社会危机的深刻反思,意在从根本上改变人类的生存状态,营造美好的人类家园。他立足于我国古代美学中丰富的生态理论遗产,汲取西方生态学、美学的新理念,并在此基础上,对马恩的生态审美思想做了现代意义的诠释。
