图式理论是非母语英语课程教学中的重要理论指导,它揭示出读者结合自身已有的知识经验理解文本信息的过程。本文在总结图式阅读理论的基础上,提出有必要在英语专业的阅读课程教学中运用图式理论进行教学设计。文章认为阅读课程教学应以建立英语阅读的语言、文化和形式图式为目标,在教学活动中结合这三种形式的图式建构,通过丰富的课堂活动和课外阅读实践,扩大学生的语言、语篇和文化的知识储备,不断提高阅读课的教学水平。
Schema theory is an important theoretical guidance in the teaching of non-native English courses, which reveals the process of readers’ understanding of textual information based on their own knowledge and experience. Based on the conclusion of schema reading theory, this paper puts forward the necessity of applying schema theory to the teaching design of reading comprehension in English majors. The article holds that reading teaching should aim at establishing the language, culture and formal schema of English reading, combining these three forms of schema construction in teaching activities, expanding students’ language through rich classroom activities and extracurricular reading practice, Discourse and cultural knowledge reserve, and continuously improve the teaching level of reading class.
