人的道德行为是在一定的道德认识、感情支配下采取的行动。学校德育要有效地促成学生知行转化,培养学生良好的道德行为,形成道德习惯,就要重视品德践行的导向,并且探寻易为学生接受的自主性践行手段。品德践行,有模仿性践行、探究性践行和自主性践行等不同发展层次和类型。模仿性践行能促使学生由无意模仿向有意模仿发展;探究性践行的特点是学生产生了一定的认识和探究人生、社会的需要,具有较多的自主成份;自主性践行则是自主的需要和动机占了主要地位,在无人监督的情况下,独立地作出道德判断和道德选择,依照一定的道德规范,化为行动的指令,达到思想品德的自我完善。
