职业生涯规划理论源起于美国20世纪初的职业辅导运动,霍兰德(Holland)的职业兴趣理论、舒伯(Super)的职业生涯发展理论、埃德加·施恩的“职业锚”理论、帕森斯(Parsons)的人职匹配理论,以及有关职业生涯的社会认知理论等影响广泛。20世纪70年代美国兴起了职业生涯规划教育,如今已成为美国、英国、加拿大等国家学校教育和就业指导的重要组成部分。
Career planning theory originated in the United States early twentieth Century career counseling movement, Holland’s career interest theory, Schubert’s career development theory, Edgar Schnell’s “career anchor ”Theory, Parsons’ theory of job matching, and social cognitive theory about careers. The 1970s saw the rise of career planning education in the United States and has now become an important part of school education and employment guidance in the United States, Britain and Canada.
