五色苋(Telanthera Bettzichiana Regel)又称毛氈苋,红绿苋,属苋科的多年生草本植物。目前在城市绿化中被大量地用来布置花坛。过去钱辑五氏在1937年会对五色苋以不同的化学药品处理进行过试验;虽然五色苋的发根较容易,但是试验结果指明:不同的药剂处理引起了很大的差异。本试验的目的在于观察2,4—D对五色苋发根的影响以及探求加速五色苋生根的方法。试验材料是用红叶五色苋(Telatnera Bettzichiana var major)和黄绿叶五色苋(Tel— Amaranth (Telanthera Bettzichiana Regel), also known as blankets amaranth, amaranth, belongs to the Amaranthaceae perennial herb.
