Motorola and U.S. Applied Intelligence will collaborate to develop a new generation of intelligent vision computers. The computer will be used first in a fully automated semiconductor production line at a semiconductor factory. This next-generation vision computer, which is an artificial intelligence type, will use Motorola’s Mc68040 processor and Application Intelligence Systems’ 16 parallel processing chipsets. It is estimated that its processing speed is 10 times faster than the current visual computer of Motorola’s semiconductor factory, and has a variety of artificial intelligence simulation judgment function. It is expected that this product will be used first in Motorola’s semiconductor factory next year.
