观念上的障碍,待遇上与中小学教师的差距,让一部分有心从事幼教事业的男教师无奈地打了“退堂鼓”。如何吸引、留住、培养好幼儿园男教师,让他们实现职业归属感?近年来,越来越多的人意识到男教师在幼儿教育中的特殊意义。但统计显示,目前我国幼儿园教职工中,从事教育教学工作的男性比例仅为约1%,而日本幼儿园男教师比例约为7%,美国的比例约为10%。因此,增加幼儿园男教师,道路尚且漫长。江苏省在全国率先实施免费幼儿男师范生的培养。2012
