热处理是提高机械产品质量的有力手段,但也是消耗能源的重要方面。据了解,95%以上的热处理设备使用电力(除冶金和重型机器制造厂外),经粗略计算,近几年我国机械工业热处理每年用电量为23.9亿度,占全机械行业用电量的27%。但目前热处理用电存在不少不合理现象,如设备负荷率低、设备的有效利用系数小、加热设备的热损失大、加热过程的无谓耗能多、工艺落后等,因此热处理节能大有潜力。
