《风暴》在香港公映前,海报已经贴得到处都是,上面有一行字“领衔主演:刘德华、姚晨、林家栋特邀主演:胡军特别演出:吕良伟、张兆辉导演/编剧:袁锦麟”前面的几个演员,大部分观众都应该认识,但是对于最后面的那个袁锦麟,或许很多观众都有疑问,他究竟是谁?作为电影人,袁锦麟早已不是新手,从他导演的电视电影《爱情加油站》算起,入行已有20年时间,但在导演电影方面,《风暴》只是他的开始。这位资深的新晋导演,没有什么架子,本来约在油麻地电影中心旁边的咖啡书店Kubrick做访问,但因为满座的缘故,只好转到附近的麦当劳快餐店,他也一点都不介意。
