Objective: To investigate the occurrence and related factors of venous blood taking syncope in trainee students. Methods: In the past 10 years, 13 179 regular venous blood taking students from the examination centers in Shandong and Henan provinces and cities were selected to investigate and analyze the causes of syncope and the possible causes of syncope in different provinces. Results: Of the 13 179 participants who took part in the physical examination, 154 were syncopes, accounting for 1.17%. Among them, 61 cases from Shandong Province, the incidence of 1.52% (61/4025); Henan 48 cases, the incidence of 1.26% (48/3799); Hebei 6 cases, the incidence of 0.51% (6/1169); Liaoning 21 cases occurred The rate of 1.28% (21/1636); Anhui 18 cases, the incidence of 0.71% (18/2550). There was significant difference (P <0.05) in the incidence of syncope in recruiting students in each province. The incidence of syncope in recruiting students in Shandong and Henan was also significantly different from that in Hebei and Anhui (P <0.05). The survey may cause recruit students fainting reasons: 87 cases of stress, physical factors in 24 cases, 55 cases of environmental factors, 31 cases of posture factors, 34 cases of pain stimulation. Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that mental stress, physical factors and painful stimuli entered the regression equation with the number of syncope as the dependent variable (P <0.05). Conclusion: Mental stress, physical factors and pain stimulation are the main correlative factors of syncope in trainee students. Corresponding protective measures should be taken actively to reduce the occurrence of syncope.
