电大英语课堂教学具有培养学生对英语学习的兴趣,保证学生学习知识的系统连贯性,为学生提供英语学习的方法指导等重要的作用。而改革中的电大英语教学,逐渐凸现出各种新情况、新问题,诸如:学生基础差、师资力量滞后、课堂教学条件有限等问题;针对这些问题,执教者应充分调动学生学习英语的积极性,革新教学观念,充实教学队伍,改进课堂条件,提高教学质量,真正提高电大英语教学的实效。
RTV English classroom teaching has the important function of cultivating students ’interest in English learning, ensuring the systematic coherence of students’ learning knowledge and providing students with methodological guidance on English learning. In the process of reforming TV universities English teaching, various new situations and new problems gradually emerge, such as the problems of poor students’ foundation, laggard faculty, limited teaching conditions, etc. In response to these problems, coaches should fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students in learning English , Innovate the teaching concept, enrich the teaching team, improve classroom conditions, improve teaching quality and really improve the effectiveness of TVU English teaching.
