《中国艺术史九讲》是方闻先生近年来系列演讲的精编文本,包括独立成篇又文脉相连的九篇文稿。方闻,一位成功地使中国艺术史在美国一流大学扎根并使之成为一门重要学科的权威教授,他对中国艺术、中国艺术史做出了深入独到的总结分析,向西方艺术界传达了关于中国艺术传统价值的“中国声音”。在书中他从探索中国艺术特殊的视觉语言及艺术风格入手,致力于挖掘中国艺术的独特价值,进而构建出在当代国际语境下的中国艺术史轮廓。史论结合,深入浅出,图文并茂,是一部跨文化研究中国艺术史的扛鼎之作。本书被评为“2016中国好书”。为了让更多的读者了解这本书的内容,应广大读者要求,本刊选取书中部分精彩章节,从第七期开始,分六期陆续刊登,和读者一起分享中国艺术史的“好故事”。本次刊载其中文稿之三。
“Nine Lectures on Chinese Art History” is a refined version of the series of speeches delivered by Mr. Fang Wen in recent years, including nine separate articles that are linked into one another and connected with each other.
