Paul Graham, nicknamed the father of Silicon Valley venture capital. In the summer of 1995, he and his friends set out to start a business. At that time, catching up with the listing of Netscape’s shares, people were excited about talking about and looking forward to the future of e-commerce. At that time, there were about 30 online stores, and Graham felt that e-commerce was definitely going to have a big development and decided to write specialized software that could make online stores. They took a different approach than traditional desktop software, letting the software run on the server, using the browser as the user interface. This has proven to be a cost-effective, easy and effective way for both developers and users alike. The company, Viaweb, was later acquired by Yahoo and changed its name to the Yahoo Store.
