From the beginning of 2006, “Art Beijing” has become one of the most influential art fairs in China. In the course of more than a decade of development, Art Beijing is also constantly adjusting its strategy as the market changes. Although the number of visitors is on the rise, Art Beijing, however, has become a part of “prosperity.” The banner of “academic” and “international”, once recognized by the industry, has fallen. In 2016, many art galleries in Beijing were of poor quality, with mixed exhibitors. The originally tall carnival became a low-end fair. After ten years of deep plowing, art Beijing can form tremendous popularity and resource flow within a short period of time, which is deeply valued by the participating agencies and has also become their motivation for exhibiting.
