PLZT陶瓷的铁电-光电电导体(FE-PC)器件用作包含灰色标度图象存储在内的信息存储早已有了报导.在这种器件中信息是以双折射或光散射中心的空间变化存储的.同样FE-PC器件也可用可变表面形变的方式存储信息.最近我们发现了采用近紫外光同时把图象在陶瓷的一个表向上曝光和通过电滞回线的一个部份的铁电极化的转向就能把图象存储在菱形相的PLZT陶瓷中(不用光电导膜),从而获得了不挥发的、灰色标度的图象,其质量优于采用FE-PC器件所存储的图象.本文评述FE-PC器件的一些重要特性和叙述新的光铁电图象的存储机理及其器件.
