1971~1975年苏联铁路机车制造工厂生产了7,197节干线客货运机车,其中3,000马力以上的有4,985节。1973年停止生产构造陈旧的2,000马力 3型内燃机车,此机车装用的是 100型二冲程柴油机。在此期间,工业部门还生产了8,037节调车和工业用内燃机车,其中2,952节的功率为1,200马力。内燃机车的平均功率在不断增长,1 971年每节干线内燃机车的功率为2,555马力,1975年增加到2,812马力。调车和工业用内燃机车的平均功率从1971年的712马力增加到1975年的740马力。
From 1971 to 1975, the Soviet railway locomotive manufacturing plant produced 7,197 mainline passenger and freight locomotives, of which 4,985 were over 3,000 horsepower. The construction of an outdated 2,000-horsepower 3-type diesel locomotive stopped in 1973 and used on a 100-type two-stroke diesel engine. During the same period, the industrial sector also produced 8,037 shunting and industrial diesel locomotives, of which 1,295 horsepower was 1,200 hp. The average power of diesel locomotives is constantly increasing. The power of diesel locomotives on each mainline in 1979 was 2,555 horsepower and increased to 2,812 horsepower in 1975. The average power of shunting and industrial diesel locomotives increased from 712 horsepower in 1971 to 740 horsepower in 1975.
