代表前进的增厚事件的早期残留变质构造D1形成于1000Ma(Grenvilian)期间。
The granulite facies gneiss and mafic granulite exposed in the Rastman hills of East Antarctica have undergone complicated deformation and metamorphism. The early remnant metamorphic tectonic D1, representing a progressive thickening event, was formed during 1000 Ma (Grenvilian). The metamorphic assemblage corresponding to the metamorphic peak M1 of D1 is characterized by the presence of cordierite and sillimanite inclusions in the garnet and spinel apatite of the argillaceous gneiss and the garnet speckle of the mafic granulite Of orthopyroxene and plagioclase inclusions. Coated sapphirite + magnetite and sapphirine + spinel + sillimanite + magnetite + quartz combinations were found in the coarse peri-pyroxene of basaltic peridotite in Permian Peninsula of the region This sapphire also encapsulates the finer spinel inclusions. Calculations of the garnet-orthopyroxene thermometer and garnet-orthopyroxene-plagioclase-quartz manometer show that the maximum P-T conditions for M1 metamorphism are 0.95 GPa and 870 ° C. These early remnant mineral assemblages indicate that the metamorphism has p-T evolutionary features counter-clockwise near isobaric cooling (IBC), reflecting their formation as a progressive metamorphism during progressive burial. It is concluded that the counter-clockwise (IBC) P-T trajectory of M1 (1000 Ma) metamorphism in this area may be related to the magmatic underplating beneath the existing continental crust and the intrusion and crystallization of a large amount of magmatic materials in the crust. This type of anticlockwise P-T trajectory differs from the P-T trajectory of this region which evolves clockwise during the late 500Ma (Pan-African)
