过氧化钠可以由单质钠在氧气或空气中燃烧得到。它是淡黄色固体,可以与水发生剧烈的反应生成氢氧化钠的同时放出氧气。不过由单质钠来制取过氧化钠,在没有坩锅的条件下用蒸发皿代替是相当难做的;因为蒸发皿耐温较低,而在单质钠与氧反应过程中,放出大量的热,使其局部温度过高而蒸发皿破裂使实验失败。为了使实验成功,特介绍实验操作于后。 药品:单质钠、水、酚酞指示剂。 仪器:铁架台(包括铁圈)、酒精灯、火柴。小
Sodium peroxide can be obtained by burning elemental sodium in oxygen or air. It is a pale yellow solid that can react violently with water to produce sodium hydroxide while releasing oxygen. However, sodium peroxide is produced from elemental sodium, which is quite difficult to replace by using an evaporating dish without a crucible; because the temperature of the evaporating dish is low, a large amount of heat is released during the reaction of elemental sodium and oxygen. The local temperature was too high and the evaporating dish ruptured and the experiment failed. In order to make the experiment successful, we introduce the experiment operation later.
