1984年10月～12月我们对宁夏贺兰县1072名回族农民老年性白内障发病情况进行调查,并对当地汉族农民进行小样本调查以作对比。调查对象与方法选择了回民居住较集中的习岗、金贯公社,进行31个生产队的自然人群调查。对田间、户外劳动人员和户内人员40岁以上者逐个检查。在小瞳孔下或以新福林扩瞳后用裂隙灯检查晶体状况。
