五十铃汽车有限公司(ISUZU)是日本历史较久的汽车制造厂。除生产各种类型的汽车外,该公司还生产20~400HP的各种柴油机作为汽车、农业机械,建筑机械、船用机械及其他机械的动力出售。目前该公司柴油机的年生产能力已超过了三十万台。为了能够使柴油机的性能、耐久性和经济性在国内外市场上具有强大的竞争能力,该公司在不断改进柴油机结构设计的同时,对柴油机金属材料及其强化工艺的研究也给予相当的重视。该公司的大型车研究实验部设有金属材料研究组,拥有三十余名研究试验人员。该组下设十个试验室,配备有较现代化的各种测试设备和物理化学分析仪器(见表1),专门从事汽车和柴油机的金属材料及其强化工艺的试验研究工作。
Isuzu Automobile Co., Ltd. (ISUZU) is a Japanese factory with a long history. In addition to producing various types of vehicles, the company also produces 20 ~ 400HP diesel engines for the power sale of automobiles, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, marine machinery and other machinery. At present, the company’s annual production capacity of diesel engines has exceeded 300,000 units. In order to make the performance, durability and economy of diesel engines strong competitive power in the domestic and international markets, the company attaches great importance to the research of diesel engine metal materials and its strengthening process while continuously improving the structural design of diesel engines. The company’s large car research laboratory has a metal materials research group, with more than thirty research and testing personnel. The group consists of 10 laboratories equipped with more modern test equipment and physico-chemical analysis equipment (see Table 1), specializing in automotive and diesel engine metal materials and its strengthening process of experimental research.
