2001年5月28日河北保定长城汽车集团公司与北京汽车工业集团公司合资成立北京长城汽车制造有限公司,保定长城集团等出资8000万元,占股份60％,北汽集团以原先北旅的设备、厂房等经评估后的净资产5346万元入股,占股份40％。新公司生产改进后的旅行车,不再保留“北旅”的品牌,这就意味着成立于1958年,被称为“汽车第一股”的北旅在退出上市公司后,同时黯然地退出了中国的汽车行业,这就是我们一直呼唤要建立的退出机制的体现。对此,不妨对北旅的沉浮进行全景回放,但愿从中能够得到启迪。
