人们倾向于把塞尚归结为色彩大师,而本文从素描的视点考察塞尚的艺术。在塞尚的书简以及与朋友的谈话中谈论到素描或者线的相关内容是很少的。但是大师的素描观却间接地投射在了他所爱读的文学作品上,比如波特莱尔对德拉克若瓦的艺术评论,巴尔扎克的小说《不为人知的杰作》等。本文借助这些资料并结合阿德里恩-查比乌斯编的《塞尚素描作品图录》阐述了作为大师的塞尚关于线与色彩的关系、素描的线的本质、线在艺术中的作用的命题
People tend to attribute Cezanne as a color master, and this article examines Cezanne’s art from a sketch perspective. In Cezanne’s booklet and conversations with friends, there is little talk about sketches or lines. However, master’s sketch concept is indirectly projected on literary works he loves to read, such as Porter’s art criticism of Delacroix, Balzac’s novel “unknown masterpiece” and so on. Based on these materials and the “Catalog of Cezanne Sketch Works” edited by Adrian-Chabius, this essay illustrates Cezanne’s relationship as a master to the relationship between line and color, the essence of line drawing, and the role of art in art Proposition
