鸡笼山铜金矿床位于长江中下游铁铜成矿带,大冶—九江铜金成矿亚带的东南段。区域构造位置为扬子板块北缘,下扬子台块,北部为大别山造山带,南部为江南隆起,北西向大别山山前断裂,与北东向郯庐断裂在区域北部交汇。鸡笼山铜金矿床受鸡笼山岩体与竹林塘复式倒转向斜的联合控制。该矿床的主要矿化类型为矽卡岩型矿化,同时存在一定的斑岩型金铜矿化。斑岩型矿化是重要的矿化类型,对其成矿作用的认识对找矿实践具有重要指导意义,为以后的找矿、探矿实践提供新的思路。
The Jilongshan copper-gold deposit is located in the southeastern segment of the iron-copper metallogenic belt in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Daye-Jiujiang copper-gold mineralization belt.
