马钢配加1.0%轻烧氧化镁粉生产镁质球团矿,竖炉炉况稳定;成品镁质球团矿MgO含量为1.68%,转鼓强度为92.18%,抗压强度为3 022 N/个,其冷态强度基本与酸性球团矿持平;冶金性能较酸性球团显著改善,其中RDI+3.15提高了9.62个百分点;透气性指标S值由752.41 kPa℃降至461.91kPa℃;熔融温度区间变窄;还原度指标提高3.73个百分点。三座高炉配用镁质球团矿生产期间,生产稳定、顺行,高炉经济技术指标显著改善,其中高炉利用系数提高了0.014 t/(m3.d),焦比下降8.45 kg/t,煤比降低4.62 kg/t,总燃料比降低14 kg/t。
