12 g of different kinds of fats (synthetic oil, lard and soybean oil) and 1% cholesterol were added to 88 g of basal diet for 5 weeks to induce hyperlipidemia in animals and soybean oil-free diet without cholesterol was used as a normal control. The growth of each group of animals in the experimental period, serum lipid, liver lipid and some visceral organ weight changes. The results are as follows: (1) After 5 weeks of feeding rats with hypercholesterolemia containing different oils, there was no significant difference in body weight gain between the male rats and female rats. There was a significant difference between the weight gain of the female rats Animal weight gain was significantly lower than lard and control. (2) Adding cholesterol to all kinds of greasy fodder can increase the liver weight of animals. Lard oil group and soybean oil group of animals have obvious fatty liver disease. Hepatic fat content increased, a large number of hepatic cholesterol and triglyceride accumulation (respectively about 9-10 times and 2-3 times the control group). However, the appearance of liver in synthetic oil group was normal, and the levels of hepatic lipid, hepatic cholesterol and triglyceride were close to the normal levels in the control group. (3) Cholesterol-fed rats fed various kinds of greasy fodder had no obvious effect on the level of serum cholesterol in males but caused the change of serum cholesterol in females. Compared with the control group, lard feed significantly increased serum cholesterol , Soybean oil and synthetic feed can maintain the animal’s blood cholesterol levels at normal levels. Serum triglyceride levels were highest in synthetic oil-fed animals. (4) In addition to increasing cholesterol in various feedstuffs, in addition to increasing the weight of the liver, the weight of the aorta of female rats also increased, but the type of feed fat had no obvious effect on its weight. The above results show that when the feed contains high water?
