“自由谈话”是小学英语课堂一种常见的教学方式,在课前3~5分钟,师生或学生之间展开交流,把英语知识与生活实际结合起来,为英语课堂的有效学习奠定基础。自由谈话的形式灵活多变。在每节课的开始,师生之间、生生之间谈上几句,在轻松愉悦的氛围中使学生从课间注意力较为松散的状态很快进入到英语课堂学习中来。但“谈”未必都能谈出实效,教学中经常出现一些低效的谈话现象。现象一:草草而谈,言之无物很多教师习惯这样开场:“Hello!How are you today?” “Free Talk ” is a common way of teaching English classes in primary schools.
