The information revolution changed the nature of the work and shifted work from rooting in industrial production to being linked to knowledge and information. This belief in education led to a dramatic increase in enrollment and higher professional goals in higher education in the United States, Process development. The article mainly describes the professionalization of American higher education from seven perspectives.
