甘肃省肃南县卡瓦铁矿位于走廊南山地体与托莱山地体的构造结合部位。地层出露较为简单,主要为长城系桦树沟组以及白垩系下沟组,其中长城系桦树沟组为含矿层位。区内构造较为复杂,主要为加里东期形成的褶皱、断层,也有后期的构造。区内的变质作用程度较低,属于低绿片岩相。区内侵入岩主要为超基性岩,基本沿断层分布。总体上卡瓦铁矿与镜铁山铁矿的地质特征极为相似。 The Kuan iron mine in Sunan County, Gansu Province is located at the structural joint between the Nanshan terrane and the Toledo terrane. The stratigraphic exposures are relatively simple, mainly consisting of the Huashugou Formation of the Great Wall and the Cretaceous Xiagou Formation, and the Huashugou Formation of the Great Wall is the ore-bearing horizon. The regional structure is more complicated, mainly formed in the Caledonian folds, faults, but also the late structure. The degree of metamorphism in the area is relatively low, belonging to low-greenschist facies. The intrusive rocks in the area are mainly ultrabasic rocks distributed along faults. In general, the geological features of the Kawamite and Geisha Tieshan Iron Ore are very similar.
