湖南省农机所、邵阳县农机所和醴陵县渌江机械厂共同研制了湖南5TG—65型人力打稻机,这种打稻机不仅能脱水稻还可配水泵、风车和碾米机等机具。该机采用组装式结构,机头和谷桶可以拆开,脱水稻时,机头和谷桶组装成一体,脱完后,机头拆下来可配其它农机具。谷桶则可用来装谷用。由于该机轻小,又可拆开,所以搬运很方便。该机的机头和脱粒滚筒全部采用钢铁制作,谷桶采用框式结构。主要技术参数:外形尺寸(长×宽×高)为1770×1050×1250(毫米),机器重量为80公斤,滚筒型式为圆钢齿杆弓齿滚筒,滚筒直径为310毫米;脱粒工效为150～200公斤/小时,脱粒总损失率不大于2%;抽水扬程为2～3米,
