This paper discusses in detail the influence of group velocity mismatch on the measurement of ultrashort optical pulse width measured by the second harmonic auto-correlation method. It is found that the group velocity mismatch has significant effect on the interference auto-correlation method and the phase-II intensity auto-correlation method It has little effect on the phase Ⅰ intensity matching test
