通过近几年对南海新资料的分析,本文试图对南海的形成及其与相邻陆块及岛派之间的关系进行探讨,提出一些新的认识.一、南海深海盆的成因为多中心微型扩张继南海北部航空磁测后,地矿部南海地质调查指挥部及中国科学院南海所等单位又相继对南海中部进行了综合性的地球物理调查.图1显示出南海中、北部海域的磁场特征,虽然它仍然是由许多正、负相间的近东西走向磁异常组成,但是磁异常的线性特征并不典型.它并不象某些大洋盆地内磁条带那样,具有一系列相互平行的正、负相间的磁条带特征.
