The Mediterranean coast is where French vegetables, fruit trees and flowers are concentrated. The vegetable greenhouses cover more than 3,000 hectares, accounting for about 65% of the total in France. There are over 1,500 hectares of flower greenhouses and more fruit trees with apples, grapes and cherries.
