民国以降,中国红十字会的会内宣传常抓不懈。其宣传形式包括文娱活动、创立刊物、出版书籍、举行会议、组织参观、赠发征信录与会员名录等;其宣传内容包括阐述会的宗旨、重要性、劝人向善、普及疾病与医药卫生防护常识、各种灾害的救护措施、各种救护人员的感人事迹等。中国红十字会的宣传活动大大推动了红十字会的“拓分会”、“征会员”和“恤兵救灾”等各项工作的进行。民国初年中国红十字会的两次发展高潮,都与其宣传密不可分。中国红十字会的经费筹措有七个方面:一是一些团体的常年捐;二是会费;三是中央及地方政府拨款;四是官绅捐款;五是华侨捐款;六是外国红十字会捐款;七是宝塔捐。中国红十字会的经费筹措是和宣传紧密联系在一起的。经费筹措需要宣传,宣传的目的之一是为了筹措经费。二者的结合,不但推动着中国红十字会的不断向前发展,而且还为近代中国社会带来了一种新的风尚。

In the early years of the Republic of China, the two climaxes of development of the Red Cross Society were closely linked with their propaganda. The financing of the Chinese Red Cross has seven aspects: First, some groups of perennial contributions; second is dues; third is the central and local government funding; fourth gentry contributions; fifth overseas Chinese contributions; sixth is the International Red Cross donations Seven is a pagoda donation. The financing of the Chinese Red Cross is closely linked to publicity. Financing needs to be publicized and one of the purposes of advocacy is for financing. The combination of the two has not only promoted the continuous development of the Chinese Red Cross Society, but also brought a new style to modern Chinese society.
