青岛港是具有108年历史的特大型港口,是全国520户重点国有企业之一。主要从事集装箱、煤炭、原油、矿石装卸运输和国际国内客运服务。吞吐能力超过亿吨。港区水深域阔,终年不淤不冻,是太平洋西岸的天然良港。青黄、济青和烟青高速公路与港区相连,胶济、胶黄铁路直抵码头前沿,交通便利,地理位置十分优越。在大陆港口甲第一个开展国际集装箱中转的枢纽大港。2000年,完成吞吐量8 636万吨。其中,外贸吞吐量完成5 763万吨,集装箱吞吐量完成212万TEU。今年1～5月份,完成吞吐量4 311万吨,超过1994年全年吞吐量。其中集
