Acute myocardial infarction Early ventricular septal perforation is a terrible complication, 95% of them often die within a year. In this paper, 22 patients with post-infarction ventricular septal perforation were observed, 15 males and 7 females, aged 49-68 years, most of whom were 56-65 years old.
