《歌剧魅影》,Phantom of the Opera,是英国作曲家安德鲁·劳埃德·韦伯的代表作之一,它与《猫》、《西贡小姐》、《悲惨世界》并称世界四大音乐剧。它是根据法国作家卡斯顿·勒胡(Gaston Leroux)的小说《Le Fantom De L’opera》改编的,《歌剧魅影》于1986年10月在伦敦首演。截止到2011年,已在全球27个国家、145个城市上演过,发行过不同语言、不同制作版本的唱片。2004年,该剧第一次与中国大陆观众见面,当时的亚洲巡演制作版剧组,在上海大剧院连演近百场,轰动申城的文艺界,成为上海年度文化盛事之一。本文将安德鲁·劳埃德·韦伯的《歌剧魅影》作为研究对象,从美声唱法的视角来阐述该唱法在《歌剧魅影》中的运用,并且指出美声唱法在该剧中的重要的地位,分析主人公之间的美声对戏和演唱,达到深入探究该剧本身所赋有的美声魅力。
Phantom of the Opera is one of the representative works of British composer Andrew Lloyd Weber. It is also known as the “Cat”, “Miss Saigon” and “Les Miserables” and is said to be the world’s top four musicals. It was adapted from the novel “Le Fantom de L’opera” by the French writer Gaston Leroux, who premiered in London in October 1986.
