On the one hand, the presiding judge of Microsoft’s antitrust case, Jackson, flatly refused Microsoft’s request to delay the hearing and ended the proceedings as soon as possible. On the other hand, he publicly hinted that he would divide Microsoft into three parts and believed that the government divided Microsoft into two parts. Two independent monopolies. At first glance, Jackson wanted to kill Microsoft. In fact, what Jackson wanted to kill was Microsoft’s flirtatious mentality of delaying change and continuing to monopolize monopolies. Only in this way can Microsoft’s business focus shift from maintaining monopoly to innovation - it is the latter that has created Microsoft’s glory.
