By using a highly truncated spectral method, the solutions of nonlinear equilibriumstates of ultra-long waves driven by non-adiabatic heating are obtained, in which a sort oflow-index equilibrium state near resonant character can reflect the main features of block-ing situation including the characteristics of the flow and the stability. Since the solutionsare analytically obtained, some inferences about the controlling effects of thermal forcingon blocking situation are deduced.
