斜齿轮插齿刀齿形测量与一般的插齿刀齿形测量不同。在测量斜齿轮插齿刀齿形时,两侧齿形的基圆半径不相等,如图1所示。齿廓1所对应的基圆半径为T_(b1)。齿廓2所对应的基圆半径为T_(b2)。由渐开线性质可知,基圆半径越大,渐开线越平直,基圆半径越小,渐开线越弯曲。图1所示,T_(b2)>T_(b1),所以齿廓2较齿廓1平直。在测量齿廓1和齿廓2的齿形时,必须按T_(b1)和T_(b2)分别调整仪器的基圆半径,否则将给测量带来较大的误差,不能正确评定插齿刀的齿形精度。
