Every step of the way in which science and technology is striding forward is the result of the wisdom and sweat of science and technology heroes of an era. Therefore, one or a few typical representative figures are born in each era. Behind these “idols”, there are still tens of millions of silently contributing scientists and technicians who jointly accomplish the brilliant new science and technology of China and their deeds touched the Chinese people.
