日本住友金属公司近年来为改进型加压水冷原子反应堆(改进型PWR)研制出蒸气发生器(SG)用690合金管材。 PWRSG用管原来使用的材料是600合金(16％Cr,75％Ni,9％Fe)。在使用过程中,曾多次发生应力腐蚀裂纹破坏事故。
Sumitomo Metal Japan in recent years for the improved pressurized water cooled atomic reactors (modified PWR) developed steam generator (SG) with 690 alloy pipe.
