贝宁人民共和国地处西非洲大西洋岸,属热带气候,是恶性疟疾的高发病区。小儿感染疟原虫后症状多较危重,常表现为脑型疟疾,若不能及时确诊,进行有效的抢救治疗,病死率极高。我们医疗队纳提丹古点 (阿塔高拉省医院)自1981年11月至1983年6月先后收治脑型疟疾患儿100例。从发病年龄上看,最小者仅3个月,最大者13岁(13岁以上收住内科),其中1～5岁者最多(90％);无明显性别差异。住院病死率为18％。现将我们的诊治体会介绍如下:
The People’s Republic of Benin is located in the Atlantic coast of West Africa, a tropical climate, is the high incidence of malaria. Children infected with malaria parasite symptoms are more critical, often manifested as cerebral malaria, if not diagnosed in time, effective rescue treatment, high mortality. Our medical team Natidanan (Atacama Provincial Hospital) has treated 100 children with cerebral malaria since November 1981 to June 1983. From the age of onset, the smallest was only 3 months, the largest 13-year-old (more than 13 years of age to receive medical), of which 1 to 5 years of age (90%); no significant gender differences. In-hospital mortality was 18%. Now the diagnosis and treatment of our experience are as follows:
