郊劳,是封建帝王在京师郊外远迎和慰劳征战凯旋的将士而举行的盛典。历代帝王都很重视郊劳大礼,籍以庆贺、犒赏和鼓舞征战将士。东汉建武十三年(公元37年)四月,大司马吴汉平公孙述后,自蜀还京师,刘秀即“大飨将士,班劳策动”。 Suburban labor, the feudal emperors in the outskirts of the Imperial Palace far welcome and reward triumphant soldiers held a ceremony.
