旋涡熔炼是一种强化熔炼。旋涡室内温度高,热强度大,物料停留时间短,单位容积熔化能力比闪速炉反应塔大得多。旋涡室是水冷的,水冷壁靠凝结的渣壳来保护。顶吹技术是KHD公司为精炼金属铜而发展起来的,现已用处理含铜炉渣。该法是将还原气体同工业氧的混合物以超音速喷射在熔渣表面上,导致传热和传质高速进行。KHD公司又将这两项技术结合在一起,构成一个熔炼、吹炼和精炼三位一体的生产体系。在这个体系中,物料是连续流动的,不需要包子运送,也不发生烟气外溢。
Vortex melting is a type of intensive melting. Vortex chamber temperature is high, hot strength, material retention time is short, melting capacity per unit volume is much larger than the flash furnace reaction tower. Whirlpool chamber is water-cooled, the water wall by the condensation of the slag shell to protect. Top blown technology was developed by KHD for the refining of metallic copper and has been used to treat copper-bearing slag. The method is a mixture of reducing gas and industrial oxygen at a supersonic jet on the slag surface, resulting in high-speed heat transfer and mass transfer. KHD, in turn, combines these two technologies to form a production system that combines melting, blowing and refining. In this system, the material is continuously flowing, does not require bun delivery, and does not occur flue gas spill.
