A children’s painted version of Journey to the West is his son’s favorite book when he was five years old. Before I go to bed every day, I read this story book of Journey to the West into his regular bedtime program. When reading a story repeatedly One day, I suddenly thought of a question: why all the monsters want to eat monk meat? Of course, the story of the Journey to the West gives the answer is immortality, but this is obviously not the answer I am looking for, What I am looking for is the original ideology of the metaphor behind the plot.
