多协议标签交换（ＭＰＬＳ）是当前宽带通信领域的热点技术之一，它将第二层的交换和第三层的路由技术完美地结合起来。本文结合ＭＰＬＳ的几项核心技术，如标签，标签交换路由器，标签分发协议，标签交换路径等，对ＭＰＬＳ的体系结构进行分析和研究，同时结合这些核心技术进一步阐述了ＭＰＬＳ技术的特点。
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is one of the hotspot technologies in the field of broadband communication. It combines Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing perfectly. In this paper, several core MPLS technologies, such as label, label switching router, label distribution protocol and label switching path are analyzed and studied. At the same time, the characteristics of MPLS technology are further elaborated with these core technologies.
