Nearly 10 million Japanese now use IC cards every day to quickly enter and leave the station. From January 2006 onwards, popular in Japan, smart IC card will be gradually replaced by mobile phones. JR East Japan, Sony and DoCoMo (Japan’s largest mobile company) jointly announced the compliance testing of DoCoMo handsets using FeliCa technology since last year’s Suica e-ticketing system in JR East Japan has been used for more than three years. Suica e-ticket function can be carried on DoCoMo’s mobile phone into the station when the ticket check on the recorder can record the location of the car, outbound and then on the card reader to complete the delivery of the ticket work, at the same time The phone screen will show the balance of the phone. In the future, due to the popularization of credit card swiping service in the station, the station will greatly reduce the placement of automatic ticket vending machines, thus saving space and investment.
