The Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by Zaha Hadid, is a new landmark in the city of Baku in Azerbaijan with a gross floor area of 57,519 m2 and an area of 111,292 m2. It has a smooth undulating surface profile, the interior includes a library, museum and a conference center, different functional areas connected by a continuous shell together, each ribbon has its own independent space. The museum faces the outdoor plaza and natural light reaches the interior directly through the wall glass.
