Plant nodules in a variety of trace elements, including molybdenum, manganese, iron content of nitrogen fixation of plants have a direct impact. For example, molybdenum and iron are necessary components of nitrogenase. Manganese and iron are important components of enzymes or transmitters in the respiratory chain. These trace elements all play the role of electron transfer in the mechanism of nitrogen fixation and are related to plant energy metabolism. In order to further explore the biological function of trace elements in nitrogen fixation, the determination of these elements in nodules need to be studied. In this paper, atomic absorption spectrophotometry was used to determine the trace amounts of molybdenum and ferromanganese in a series of nodules.
